Empowering you to live your best life

Hello! I am Naj. A certified Life & wellness coach, founder of Forest Hill Coaching, artist and designer.
I started my artistic practice at Gerrit Rietveld academy, Amsterdam focusing on art and design. Explored autonomous fine art at the Royal Academy of Art, the Hague, and continued my studies at the University of Arts, London, UK along with the minor of Psychoanalysis.
Becoming a coach was a natural life journey that happened through becoming a mom. "A new chapter that led into another Metamorphosis". I quitted my beloved lecturer position at Seneca College in Ontario to tap into a new self discovery space. The new window was so meaningful and inspiring that I decided to pursue a course of Life and Wellness Coaching in Canada Coach Academy (CCA). Since then it's all about waking up to something more than a career every morning. Extra layer of meaning, ultimate joy, love of sharing and learning from others.
In my studio and online sessions, I provide a safe space for my clients (Thinking Partners) to walk along their challenging self discovery journey, feeling felt, being seen, being heard and getting gotten. In my Art and Wellness courses I use art, mindfulness, and coaching techniques to create a unique platform for participants to connect with their inner self, discover their authentic self and fulfill goals.
Beyond coaching I am a nature lover, art geek, food creator, biker and traveller.
Please feel free to connect for a free discovery call to learn more about me and my approach.
Nature and Art are two key elements in my coaching style. I create a unique platform for my clients to connect with their inner self, discover their authentic self and fulfill goals. I have collaborated with museums and art centres around the world as well as inviting clients to my inspiring studio and virtual classes to empower them to choose the path that is right for them.
My approach is to work collaboratively with clients to help them identify their strengths, overcome limiting beliefs, and develop practical strategies for achieving their goals.
Art & Wellness
Art has served as a form of communication from the very beginning. Art and wellness is a platform to provide individuals with a safe and supportive environment where they can explore themselves through art and creativity. My non-therapy sessions are designed to engage clients with fine art that positively impact their physical and mental health. Art and wellness activities include painting, sculpture, photography, performance art and more. Creating a unique art journey can promote a sense of calmness and leads a new energy in life. Through art we can work together on many skills; hand eye coordination, problem solving, healing, brain focus, motor skills and connecting mind and body. So whether you're an experienced artist or a beginner, there are endless possibilities to explore.
Dementia & Alzheimer Group - Collaboration with MacLaren Art Centre
partnership with the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County
This course is designed in for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers. Currently each week we will have discussions about our current exhibiting artists and their artwork, and then we will respond creatively through watercolour, collage, acrylic painting, textiles, and more! This program is in partnership with the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County. Our hope is that this collaborative program will continue to foster meaningful and purposeful connections in a safe space with creativity as the resonating commonality that restores well-being.
